So we've set up next week's two Super League play-off semi-finals.

Wigan take on Hull FC next Thursday while St Helens take on tonight's winners Catalans on Friday.

We're two weeks away from the Super League Grand Final and, if the past two nights are anything to go by, we're in for a cracker of a play-off series.

For now though, thank you for joining us.

    FT: Catalans 26-14 Leeds

Leeds Rhinos director of rugby Kevin Sinfield told Sky Sports:

鈥淭he first half hurt us. You can鈥檛 give yourself an 18-0 mountain to climb. At crucial times we gave too much of the ball away and Catalans made us pay.

鈥淚 can鈥檛 fault the effort tonight, they had a real go. I鈥檓 really proud of what the club have done this year, I know it鈥檚 been a challenge for everybody.

鈥淲e鈥檙e growing. We鈥檙e never going to be an overnight fix but we鈥檙e looking forward to next year and we鈥檝e made great strides already.鈥

  3. 'Excited for the semi-final'published at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 13 November 2020

    FT: Catalans 26-14 Leeds

Catalans head coach Steve McNamara told Sky Sports:

鈥淚 was really pleased with the first half but to be honest not playing mostly for six weeks, I wasn鈥檛 quite sure how well we鈥檇 go in the second half.

鈥淚t was tense in the second and not as good as the first half but this team needed this game to move on to a bigger challenge next week.

鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to be in the semi-final and one game away from the Grand Final but you need to play extremely well which is the challenge.鈥

  4. 'We had to be on our best'published at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 13 November 2020

    FT: Catalans 26-14 Leeds

Catalans full-back Sam Tomkins told Sky Sports:

"We knew it was going to be a big test tonight. Leeds have played well recently and we had to be on our best.

"In the first half we laid a good platform. They've won a lot of close games so we knew we'd have to play for the full 80.

"When Brad Dwyer came on he made a difference and gave them a lot of momentum."

    IT AIN'T OVER YET, FOLKS!

Leeds just haven't panicked since that David Mead try and, thanks to some good work from Brad Dwyer in the build up, the ball is eventually worked to Konrad Hurrell who touches down in the corner.

Rhyse Martin misses the kick, however. 10 points in it.

    David Mead, goal James Maloney

Oh Leeds what an absolute disaster that was.

No sooner had the Rhinos won the ball back from that Catalans attack, Rob Lui offloads straight to David Mead, who evades a subsequent tackle, turns 180 degrees and runs in pretty much unopposed at the corner.

James Maloney adds the two and there's still time but Leeds have got an uphill battle here.

Michael McIlorum gets to the post before he's held up as Catalans drive to the line.

They win another set of six but they cheaply lose the ball soon after and Leeds breathe a sigh of relief.

Here come Catalans! Having been under the cosh for much of this second half, Tom Davies barges his way through a sea of Leeds bodies in a charge upfield.

In the aftermath, Richie Myler and Joel Tomkins exchange pushes as they challenge for the ball.

    It's a tense game, this.

And back under way again. Hopefully Brad Dwyer's alright after all that.

Leeds will want to avoid him missing the rest of the game, having already lost Ava Seumanufagai and Mikolai Oledzki.

Play has been halted because Brad Dwyer's nose is just gushing blood.

A change of shirt is in order while the physio tries to stem the flow.

Game on. And Luke Gale attempts a cheeky short kick to try and find some space at the line on Leeds' fifth tackle but it's well collected by Sam Tomkins.

    Good game, this.

This is as big a window as Leeds are going to get if they are to claw down Catalans' advantage.

The Rhinos have dominated this second half so far but Brad Dwyer is the latest Leeds player to come off worse in a tackle.

This time Michael McIlorum appears to catch him in the face as he goes to ground and there's a bit of claret coming from his nose.
