Matt Dawson: Who else would it be creating Arsenal's goals other than Bukayo Saka. He really is a brilliant talent, with a fantastic ball for Auba to finish nicely. Another couple of goals like that and the tie is done.

Just over half hour gone and Benfica have not had a shot on target nor a corner. Arsenal with the lead and Mikel Arteta will be very pleased with what he has seen so far.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored in seven of his last eight cup matches for Arsenal (9 goals – FA Cup x5, Europa League x3, Community Shield x1), only failing to net against Benfica in the first leg during this run.

Dani Ceballos looks to extend Arsenal's lead as he strikes at goal from the edge of the penalty area but the shot is charged down and sent away from goal.

Matty AFC: Arsenal are taking far too long to bring the ball from defence to attack on the few occasions that Benfica break out to attack. That transition is where we miss Partey when he's not fit.

Partey's one of the options on the bench for the Gunners, after missing three matches because of a hamstring injury.

Martin Odegaard, on loan from Real Madrid, looks to send Bukayo Saka free down the right with a chipped ball over the Benfica defence, but the ball zips off a fine-looking surface and Saka can't get there in time.

Paul Collins: I want us to beat Benfica but imagine if Benfica go out on the away goals rule. Be a bit harsh given neither team has actually played at home.

Kieran Tierney has been one of the bright spots for Arsenal in a tough season and the Scotland left-back makes a charge down the flank, but it is solid defending from Benfica's Rafa Silva who matches him stride for stride and wins the ball with a nicely-timed sliding challenge.

Arsenal's Granit Xhaka then tries his luck from 25 yards out and, despite the ball bouncing just in front of the goalkeeper, Helton Leite dives forward and grabs hold of it.

The first leg of this tie last week was arguably one of the games of the season and Rangers have taken an early lead at home.

Benfica, opting for a high press, have Arsenal pegged back in defence in the early stages.

Diogo Goncalves makes a burst down the right wing but team-mate Adel Taraabt clatters into Gabriel from the square ball and the Gunners are awarded a free-kick to end the danger.

Tarrabt needs to be careful from now on as he's shown the first yellow card of the game.
