Scots Martin Laird, Paul Lawrie and Sandy Lyle all finished over par in the first round of the Masters.

Lyle, who is one over, hit the first shot on the 25th anniversary of winning the 1988 tournament.

Both Laird and Lawrie are four over with the latter double-bogeying the fifth hole on his way to a 76.

Australian Marc Leishman set the early pace with a six-under opening round while last year's winner Bubba Watson is three over.
