Coventry City: Dave Hockaday joins in coaching capacity

Dave Hockaday managed Conference side Forest Green Rovers before taking over at Leeds
Former Leeds United and Forest Green boss Dave Hockaday has joined Coventry City as professional development coach until the end of the season.
Hockaday, 57, in charge of Leeds for just 70 days this season, will work with the Under-21s and first team.
After leaving Leeds, Hockaday joined non-league Swindon Supermarine as their assistant manager on a temporary basis.
"This is a pivotal role. We are delighted to have Dave on board." said Coventry chief executive Steve Waggott.

Dave Hockaday made 519 league appearances with Blackpool, Swindon Town, Hull City, Stoke City (loan) and Shrewsbury Town, at right-back or in midfield, before packing in through injury at the age of 38 in 1995. |
Spent seven years at Watford from 2000, appointed by Graham Taylor, first as Under-18s coach before being promoted to first-team coach until leaving in 2007, after which he worked briefly under Martin Allen at MK Dons. |
Had two years as Southampton youth coach, then again under Allen at Cheltenham before four years at Forest Green until October 2013. Was then appointed as Leeds head coach in June 2014, lasting just 70 days. |

Hockaday, in charge of Championship side Leeds for just six games, joins a Sky Blues side currently winless in five games and 19th in League One.
"I'm looking forward to working alongside Dave," said Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley. He will also work alongside me and Neil MacFarlane with the first-team. His experience will help bridge the gap between the Under-21s and the first team."
