Nottingham Forest have signed Walsall winger Jamie Paterson for an undisclosed fee.
The Coventry-born 21-year-old has joined the Reds on a two-year contract, with the option of a third year.
Saddlers academy product Paterson has played a total of 102 games for Walsall, scoring 16 goals.
"Hopefully I can offer something a bit different, get people off their seats and cause a bit of havoc on the field," Paterson told 91热爆 East Midlands Today.
"I am looking forward to showing what I can do on the field. It's a great club with great expectations.
"The club is a massive with big support and a great stadium. It was an offer that was too good to turn down."
Paterson is Walsall's third big loss in a week following Febian Brandy's move to Sheffield United and top scorer Will Grigg's sale to Brentford.
The winger, who hit 12 League One goals last season to finish as Walsall's second top scorer, was also a target for another Championship side, Huddersfield Town.
Meanwhile Forest are also interested in signing Wolves goalkeeper Dorus De Vries and a deal could be finalised on Wednesday.
