Kayode Odejayi's goal earned a point for Rotherham against Chesterfield.

The hosts took the lead early on after a slip from Millers keeper Scott Shearer let Drew Talbot in and his cross was tapped home by Jordan Bowery.

Odejayi levelled when he turned Sam Hird and placed his finish beyond Spireites goalkeeper Tommy Lee.

Chesterfield had the better of the first half, twice hitting the woodwork, but rarely threatened after the visitors levelled and remain winless.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Draw was a fair result for Chesterfield - Tommy Wright

"I thought that was a fair result, it was a typical derby.

"I thought there were too many long balls from both teams really.

"The whole game looked a bit frantic, it never got settled and nobody really passed the ball.

"With Jordan Bowery up front in the last 20 minutes we started to stretch them and could have got the winner."

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans tells 91热爆 Radio Sheffield:

Evans hails 'world-class' Lee

"I think we've dominated for spells in the second half and we make a chance that you would expect a player of the calibre of young Ben Pringle to stick in the net.

"We showed a lot of character and we go away the more disappointed [side].

"I counted four wonderful saves from Tommy Lee. He saved from Pringle in the first half, and I'm going to use an expression which we all use too often, but that save was world class."
