A saturday on North Uist...

Well the weather today is a bit grey over North Uist. It's been a fantastic few weeks here with glorious sunshine and some nice hot days aswell; weather to head to the beach with the dogs or just potter about in the garden. However, it's a dry day and there is nice breeze, it's just a bit grey.

Went to Taigh Chearsabhagh (www.taigh-chearsabhagh.org) on Saturday and had a lovely lunch in the cafe - it's been a while since I was there last. Then bought a few nice gifts from the shop for upcoming birthday's etc. Also, they have a really nice selection of books so bought a few, but could certainly have left with a few more!

Lunch at TC was followed by a stop at Morrisons for fuel, and then Clachan Stores for a few necessities and the newspapers. It was then home, feet-up, a read of the papers and an attempt at the crossword.

Sounds like a pretty good day to me. Anything involving a book shop is always good!
