Chrissie Mary and I are that pleased to hear that we've got a choice of 30 men between us now since so many other women have left the island. We're very excited about meeting them all.
FC seems to be making bosom buddies for folks in the Northern Isles so they shouldn't be lonely but we thought it might be a kind gesture to let the ladies there have one of one of our men that's going spare - since we seem to have a glut.
Here's Murdo John in his Fank Marshal vest. We asked him to look smouldering for the camera seeing as it was coming up to Valentine's Day. What a treat.
He's set a very high standard for our other 29 bodachs.

How do you ever expect to attract the wimmin back to the isles if this is the best on offer? I'm shore that Murdo John would never get over the door at some of our fine, newly-revamped hostelries in his working claes. Men in boilersuits are just so last season.

Oh no. We've been conned and hadn't been advised of the BAH factor affecting our quota of men. Seemingly some of the 29 are Boyfriends And Husbands. We might need to keep Murdo John after all and test whether he's sufficiently serviceable for our crofting needs. This also raises an Equal Opperchancities issue. Why do we hear so much about WAGs (Wives And Girlfriends) but never a peep about BAHs?

What a coincidence FC, Murdo John just loved Onan Corner, especially their 60s hit, "Bend Me, Shape Me." In fact, I bet he was singing the lyrics to himself to get his pose just right.
