You really had snow recently? VERY nice pictures. The contrast between the photos really grabs one's attention.

OK but where's moto? Great pix as ever.

Sorry to disappoint anyone, but no now recently. Although normally all pics are very recent, i was just playing around with various options of the blogging system and used these photos to test. They were all taken much earlier in the year during last winters snow. John - Moto has sparked a few comments - in fact he now appears on a Christmas Card at hebrideanhomelandphotography.com - and will no doubt make further appearances on this blog in the near future.

Hi there, I've just found your marvellous site, and wondered whether you you have any objections to me exhibiting two of your beautiful photos on my Blog - http://thelazyenvironmentalist.blogspot.com/ I am currently examining the issue of carbon offsetting - and wanted to exhibit imagery that demonstrated the beauty of our land; a land that is our environmental legacy. And as a fellow Scot, the west of Scotland is where my heart lies.

can you tell me the exact site from where the photograph 'snow blasted off eaval' was taken. i used to live very near to eaval some years ago & remember seeing snow coming off the top ...
stephen watts from london (at present)
Hello Stephen. The picture of Eaval was taken from Grimsay, near Gearraidh Dubh on the north side.
