CHILD ABUSE INVESTIGATION COMMAND
Dr Raj Persaud visits the Metropolitan Police's Child Abuse Investigation Command whereÌýofficersÌýinvestigate child abuse including theÌýdetection and capture of paedophiles.Ìý
It's the largest paedophile unit in the world.Ìý The police working here deal with both victims and perpetrators; as part of their work they encounter and witness some horrific images of abuse.Ìý
Raj finds out how the police are psychologically prepared for this unpleasant but necessary task and what services are in place to support them as they go about their work.
He speaks to:
