DJ Edu meets Caleb Rimtobaye, AKA AfrotroniX, a forward-thinking musician from Chad who wants to change the image of Africa.
Caleb Rimtobaye is an award winning musician, singer, DJ and guitarist from Chad. His stage name is AfrotroniX, and he embraces the aesthetic of Afrofuturism. His mission is to change the image of Africa with his music and appearance.
When it comes to music, that means blending traditional sounds with digital effects to produce something really unique. Equally striking is the image AfrotroniX has created for himself. On stage he wears a jumpsuit and a helmet that looks like something out of a science fiction movie.
