Anaya is in her second year at Coventry University studying Sports Therapy. She has trained in Bharatanatyam since the age of 5 under her mother, Guru Chitraleka Bolar, a highly acclaimed Bharatanatyam exponent, teacher and choreographer. Over the past few years, Anaya has been training, performing and also teaching at the Chitraleka Dance Academy, registering to do her DDI (Diploma in Dance Education). Anaya was a finalist in the South Asian category of 91热爆 Young Dancer 2015 and recently won an ISTD bursary award, that will enable her to train with dance professionals in the UK and abroad to further develop her dance technique and broaden her repertoire in Bharatanatyam.
