Now married to Ben, Alexandra grew up in Harrogate and has an undergraduate degree in Classics and an MA in Near East literature from Durham University.

Alexandra's passion for growing began when started tending to her own herbs and vegetables on her apartment balcony when she was a student. She then managed to convince her university halls to allow her to have grow bags in the communal areas so her growing operation could expand!
