Sally Magnusson
Sally Magnusson has presented a range of programmes across the 91热爆 for more years than she is entirely willing to admit to.
She started out as a reporter on , moved to the Sunday Standard (which closed soon afterwards) and then headed to London to present the flagship 91热爆 One teatime show Sixty Minutes (which finished soon afterwards). She assures herself there was no connection.
She then anchored in London for many years, between babies. Five children later she moved back to Scotland and joined the Reporting Scotland presenters’ team.
She has hosted , reported for and presented (on Radio 4), as well as a number of current affairs series such as the RTS-winner Britain’s Secret Shame, along with the perennial Songs of Praise.
Sally has also written eight books, which she finds a welcome distraction from the news. These include a biography of pee, a children’s series about Horace the Haggis and the bestselling memoir, Where Memories Go, which had been credited with improving knowledge and understanding of dementia. She is writing her first novel.
