British audiences will best know Matthew as the music teacher extraordinaire Will Schuester in the Golden Globe winning musical series Glee, which ran for six seasons between 2009 and 2015.

An esteemed singer, Matthew has also released two albums – a self-titled album in 2011 which featured A-List guest artists including Sting, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sir Elton John, and his 2013 album ‘Where It All Began’. The latter was produced by pioneer Phil Ramone and features showtunes such as ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, ‘It Don’t Mean a Thing’ and ‘The Lady Is a Tramp’.

Alongside Emma Bunton, in November 2019 Matthew hosted a two-hour Thanksgiving spectacular on ABC called The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration. As well as presenting the show Matthew also performed a medley of When You Wish Upon A Star and Let It Snow.

Matthew has also teamed up with Disney to release an album of classics entitled Disney Dreamin’, due for release in March 2020.
