After the death of her husband Roland March (shortly after the birth of her twins), she returns to her childhood home, Angelfield House, to live with her brother Charlie Angelfield. A troubled woman, she is mostly disengaged from her daughters鈥� upbringing.

Emily Beecham won the Best Actress award at the 2011 BIFAs and was also selected as a Trailblazer for the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009. Her recent television credits include The Musketeers, The Village, Blandings, The Fear, Merlin and The Street.
