Kai Scanlan
19 year old Kai started tap dancing when he was 5 years old. His passion quickly grew and as a result he successfully auditioned for Tap Attack at the age of 10. He has been fortunate enough to travel the world with tap dance, performing in many shows, competing and winning World Titles with Team GB at the IDO World Tap Dance Championships, whilst also being able to train with some of the best international teachers.
At the age of 16 he gained a scholarship to Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts which has enabled him to broaden his training in all styles. Kai is now in his third year and due to graduate in July 2022.
Kai has also taught and choreographed internationally and has had the platform to create his own concept videos and performance pieces, which have featured on both stage and TV.
After graduation Kai aims to perform professionally and perform in multiple genres around the world. He would like to produce his own work and concepts and also create a platform to feature as a choreographer in acclaimed shows.
