Miranda Keys studied at the Royal College of Music, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and National Opera Studio, and was the winner of Bayreuth Bursary for 2006 and John Scott Award 2005.

At the RCM, Miranda performed Britten's Les Illuminations and Dallapiccola's Commiato. She sang Strauss's Vier Letzte Lieder with the RCM Symphony Orchestra and in Mexico City.

Operatic roles include Lady Billows Albert Herring (Salzburg Landestheatre), Odabella, Attila (Lyric Opera Dublin) Musetta La bohème and Elettra Idomeneo (Glyndebourne On Tour), Witch/Mother Hansel and Gretel (Scottish Opera on Tour), Plaintiff Trial By Jury (Musée D'Orsay), Widow Babette's Feast (Linbury Studio) and Suzanne Thérèse Raquin (Linbury Studio).

Other roles include Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), Fiordiligi (Così fan Tutte), Miss Wingrave (Owen Wingrave), Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw), Female Chorus (The Rape of Lucretia) and Madame Lidoine (Dialogues des Carmélites).

An accomplished recitalist, she has performed in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Mexico City, Guanajuato, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Singapore, Manila, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane.

In 2001, she represented Australia at the opening of the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico singing Verdi's Requiem.

Future projects for 2007 include 3rd Norn in Götterdämmerung at the 2007 91Èȱ¬ Proms and Lady Billows Albert Herring for Glyndebourne On Tour.
