Gayle Telfer Stevens
Comedy actor
Our cast of comedy geniuses may be unknown to you as yet so we sent the show's producer Gerald Strother along to find out more, Gerald meets Gayle...
Give me a couple of lines about yourself. What have you done? What’s your background? Professionally speaking…
Started my life as a jazzhanded, box stepping performer in The National Theatre's production of Jerry Springer The Opera and as I love a right gid laugh I continued with the likes of , , , and Sunshine on Leith.
Working with my pal and fellow, laugh a minute, cast member is a personal highlight in life, we're developing our own show called for good Scottish heart warming, cheeky comedy!
Tell me some comedy stuff that you like. Programmes, stand ups… what makes ya giggle?
Who remembers On a Friday night, along with a double bill of ?? They were the days. for his dry wit, a wee bit of and a right good dose of Scottish banter with , that's my idea of a good night in, a wee something missing though. We need some good Scottish woman or wummin to balance all this testosterone out!!
Erm, something about filming or rehearsing with us. Was ANY of the experience enjoyable? (Lunch can be included in your fond memory if that was the best bit or you can just big me up. No?)
Loved the cast and crew but it was the big guy in the shop (that was the owner!! – Gerald) listening to Van Morrison that got my heart. It's the small things that make you chuckle sometimes. Enjoy dolls!x
