How sewing machines can create art
The sounds of Seoul are what inspires British sound artist Steve Hellier as he creates his latest work, a commission for Musicity, which reflects the tensions and architecture of the South Korean capital. With microphone in hand he has been roving around the city – a set of old sewing machines have caught his ear.
