Clowning around: Behind the scenes at Giffords Circus
Nell Gifford left home to join a circus aged 18, and fell in love with the way of life. She fulfilled her dream of starting her own circus in 2000.
From acrobats and dancers to clowns and chicken trainers, Nell travels the world looking for acts to join Giffords Circus. Together the travelling troupe takes a new show on the road around England each year.
