Why is Dakar's new airport 50km away?
Construction of Senegal's new Blaise Diagne international airport has taken over 10 years, costing $575m.
Expected to be unveiled later this year, the new airport will have a capacity for 10 million passengers a year.
It is located around 50km from the capital Dakar.
