NHS medic: 'We are in a crisis'
The NHS is in a crisis, according to a health service medic, challenging government claims otherwise.
Consultant anaesthetist Dr Anita Sugavanam told the programme that the NHS had never been in "such dangerous territory", due to 'bed-blocking' and staff shortages.
She said medics were struggling to sleep because of the stress, and doctors were leaving the profession or working abroad.
