Rothwell bone crypt 'well used'
Rothwell's bone crypt may have been "well used" according to Dr Jenny Crangell from Sheffield University.
Bones, which have been stored under Rothwell Parish Church, have been radio carbon-dated.
It's known the crypt dates from the 13th Century, but it's not clear when the thousands of skulls and thigh bones were placed there.
