Leadsom 'disappointed' Johnson not in leadership race
South Northamptonshire MP, Andrea Leadsom, says she's "disappointed" Boris Johnson is not an opponent in the Tory leadership race.
However, she hopes some of his supporters will back her bid instead.
It was widely expected Mr Johnson would stand to be the next prime minister, but earlier today he pulled out, saying: "Having consulted colleagues and in view of the circumstances in parliament, I've concluded that person cannot be me".
