Ely North junction improvement delayed

Network Rail is delaying a major rail upgrade for East Anglia for several years because it doesn't have the funds.

The Ely North junction upgrade would have led to more frequent routes from Norwich and King's Lynn to Cambridge.

Mark Pendlington, who chairs the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, says it's essential for the region.
