Bars and pubs holding cheap drink promotions in Cheltenham could be asked to restrict them.

The Borough Council will be voting on a voluntary code of good practice today, which - if passed - would see venues working together to encourage responsible drinking.

The authority thinks low cost alcohol is leading to binge drinking, which can lead to anti-social behaviour and crime.
