Haulage firms avoid Calais
The Road Haulage Association says long-distance lorry drivers are being threatened with knives and baseball bats, gassed in their cabs and even physically attacked.
Long-distance lorry drivers are being threatened with knives and baseball bats, gassed in their cabs and even physically attacked....
That's according to the Road Haulage Association who say the lives of thousands of hauliers are being put at risk as a result of the increase in migrant activity at Calais.
A Gloucestershire Haulage firm has also reported witnessing acts of violence against HGV drivers.
