Why working with lifelong alcoholics can be rewarding
The first person Ann saw on her first day working with alcoholics was a man who she had brought her children up to "cross the road" if they saw him.
She said after working with him she found him to be "interesting, nice and very sad from his background".
Before he died, Ann and her colleagues helped reunite him with family which Anne said was "just wonderful".
