Patients in Northamptonshire failed to turn up to more than 10,000 GP appointments in a single month. That's according to figures released for May by the Nene Clinical Commissioning Group. It says thousands more patients could have been seen if people had bothered to cancel their appointment with their surgery intead of simply not turning up.
