Plans for nearly 3,000 new homes either in, or just outside, Northampton are being considered, by Northampton Borough Council's planning committee. Campaigners say that the Committee shouldn't be looking at the biggest of the proposals at all, as it would be pre-judging a planning inspector's report about the over-arching plan from the West Northants Joint Planning Unit.
