Colin Evans gardening tips
Give your indoor plants a spring clean by giving them a trim up and removing all unhealthy material. If they are tight in their pots then replant into fresh compost and give them a good water and liquid feed and then place the plants back in their usual growing position.

SHRUB HONEYSUCKLE is the same as the climbing銆赌type except this銆赌Honeysuckle grows into a woody shrub and is self supporting growing into a tough and reliable garden plant. In February their銆赌our masses of bright yellow flowers covering bare stems. The leaves appear once the blooms are over.

CHINESE WITCH HAZEL is similar in that it flowers on bare stems and is a hardy specimen, growing more tree like than that of a shrub. The flowers are yellow with red tinges and are large and very fragrant and this tree like plant will grow well in most well drained soils.

If a proper tree is what you fancy then you can do no better than MOGNOLIA x LOEBNERI "LENARD MESSEL" which has large bright pink flowers again on naked stems. This tree prefers acid soil and will flower right through from April until the end of May.
