The severe storm, named "St Jude", bashed through Northamptonshire with high winds and torrential rain disrupting road and rail transport.

Many roads were flooded and railway services cancelled.

Stuart spoke to George Cooper, the emergency preparedness officer at Northamptonshire Police, to Rebecca Miller from MGWSP who look after many of the highways in Northamptonshire, to Paul Watters from the AA, and to Francis Thomas from London Midland Trains.
