More Action Needed To Stop People Driving Drunk

The number of people caught drink driving in the county has fallen, despite 1000 more breath tests were carried out during the month long campaign, but people are still doing it.

The number of people caught drink driving in the county has fallen, despite nearly a 1000 more breath tests being carried out by Northamptonshire police during their month long campaign. The force carried out more than 2,700 breath tests in June - 54% more than during the same period last year.

103 test results were positive, compared to 145 during June of 2012.

So although the numbers of people caught drink driving has fallen people are still doing it.
