Nine time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt is back on the road
She's as well known for her lifelong commitment to social activism as she is for her music. Singer and songwriter Bonnie Raitt credits the British for turning the Americans onto Blues and R and B music in the sixties.
Bonnie's been touring for forty three years and is about start her first UK tour for seven years. Adele covered her hit I Can't Make You Love Me and she now says she's attracting a younger audience. She is also a passionate activist and supporter of causes ranging from the anti-nuclear movement to youth music programs.
