Primary School Places For All Despite Increased Demand

In December, Northants County Council told us 7,000 more places are needed in its primary schools by 2014. Plans to expand more than 20 primary schools across the county have since been approved.

Every child in Northamptonshire who needs a primary school place in September will get one according to the County Council. In December the Council told 91热爆 Radio Northampton that 7,000 more places are needed in its primary schools by 2014.

Over the past year plans to expand more than 20 primary schools across the county have been approved.

Reporter Willy Gilder is given a tour of the planned extension to Abington Vale Primary School by Head Teacher Mark Currell.
