The first part of the clip tells the story of the foundation of the Khalsa by the tenth guru, Gobind Singh, in 1699. In the second part a Sikh teenager explains how Sikhs today are initiated into the Khalsa through the ceremony of Amrit. She describes what happens and why this commitment is important to her and to other Sikhs.
