Wellingborough Prison Will Still Close, But May Have A Future

Wellingborough Prison will close as scheduled next month, the new Prisons Minister has confirmed following a visit to the site, but he didn't rule out the prison re-opening in the future.

The Minister, Jeremy Wright, did offer a glimmer of hope though; he didn't rule out the prison re-opening in the future. Reporter Willy Gilder talks to the Minister and to Elaine Hinds who used to work there. Stuart talks to Wellingborough Conservative MP Peter Bone and to Lynne Holcombe, whose husband is a prison officer at Wellingborough and who is leading the campaign against closure.
