"Flood Plain" Development Approved
Outline planning permission has been given to the developers Taylor Wimpey to build more than 600 homes at Pineham despite the flood plain of the River Nene.
Outline planning permission has been given to the developers Taylor Wimpey to build more than six-hundred homes at Pineham even though part of the development lies within the flood plain of the River Nene. The Environment Agency says there is a "very low probability" of the proposed new homes being afected by flooding. Reporter Willy Gilder talks to Colin Williams from Taylor Wimpey.
