School Admissions System "Let My Son Down" - Kettering Mum

Five year old Christopher Whiting is still not attending school after he missed out on a place at Hall Meadow Primary School in Kettering last year. His mother says he's been let down.

Kettering mother Rachel Humphrey says Northamptonshire's School Admissions System has let her son down. Five year old Christoper is still not in school after missing out on a place at Hall Meadow Primary last year. Rachel's concerns come as Northamptonshire County Council are stressing the need for parents to complete their application forms with care to minimise problems. Stuart talks to Rachel Humphrey, to Leigh Lockwood from Wellingborough whose daughter missed out on her first choice, and to Councillor Andrew Grant, the Northamptonshire County Council cabinet member for children and young people.
