South Africans share their views and opinions on apartheid
South African Prime Minister, Dr Henrik Verwoerd, explains the nature of apartheid, describing it as a policy of good neighbourliness rather than separation or discrimination. He argues that Europeans and Africans are different and so should live separate lives for their mutual benefit. This is followed by a series of interviews. Not surprisingly, we get very different views on apartheid from Africans and white South Africans.
