Eugene 鈥淏ull鈥 Connor, the Commissioner of Public Safety for Birmingham, Alabama, is interviewed by Robin Day about his support for racial segregation. This is followed by an interview with Martin Luther King in which he refuses to criticise Connor, but to some extent expresses sympathy for him and uses his opponent's views as a platform to explain his own non-violent approach.
