Cheshire Garden Trust – Time and Tide
First time show garden designer Jacquetta Menzies is a member of a group of volunteers called the Cheshire Garden Trust. Together they are working on a garden that will highlight their work that aims to safe guard Cheshire’s horticultural heritage.
The garden is called Time and Tide, Caldwells and Canute. Inspiration is drawn from Knutsford’s legendary connection to King Canute and a two hundred year old nursery called Caldwell’s, which once supplied all the big gardens of the area including Arley Hall and Tatton Park.
