Cable theft disrupts train links to London
First Capital Connect's Thameslink service is not running between Bedford and Luton this morning, with disruption likely to continue until at least lunchtime.
A day before the start of the Olympics, one of the main rail routes into London is at a standstill this morning due to cable theft.
First Capital Connect's Thameslink service is not running between Bedford and Luton, with disruption likely to continue until at least lunchtime.
The company say this is due to signalling problems at Bedford caused by cable theft and all lines are blocked.
