Hatfield wins Portas Pilot bid.
Hatfield has been chosen as one of 15 towns across the country to be given money to revive its high street as part of the Mary Portas Pilot.
Hatfield has been chosen as one of 15 towns across the country to be given money to revive its high street as part of the Mary Portas Pilot.
It'll get a share of 1 and a half million pounds and is aiming to create event facilities to encourage more visitors.
The news is being announced this morning by the Welwyn Hatfield MP and Local Government Minister Grant Shapps.
In May Bedford was chosen as one of the first towns to get the money.
