Bus Station Planning Decision Due

Northampton Borough Council's planning committee will tonight consider a planning application for the town's new bus interchange at the Fishmarket. The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has published its Minimum Income Standard report which says that a quarter of the UK's population now live below the minimum income standard. Stuart talks to Derry Miller from Age UK Northamptonshire and to Dawn Thomas from Northampton, who is a mother to two sons.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has announced 39 of its regional offices are to close - including one in Northampton. Stuart talks to Victoria Ford from the DVLA and to Richard Cotterill from the PCS Union.
