Bloody Remains Found in Guatemala Street
Cardiff paramedic Angie Dymott has been working with the Bomberos in Guatemala city for a few days, when they are asked by police to help identify what look like human remains in a bloodstained plastic bag.
The remains turn out to be a placenta. The reason they caused such anxiety is because there has been a spate of human body parts, including a severed head, arms and even a heart, being dumped in this area by gangs to intimidate. It's an indication that violent Mexican gangs are now a major concern in the city.
