Deadly Dangers of Travelling by Bus in Guatemala
A campaign of gangland terror has hit Guatemala's buses, as Bombero (paramedic/fireman) Wilfredo Ponce explains.
He is hosting Angie Dymott from wales - she is working for two weeks as a paramedic in Guatemala City.
Wilfredo commutes to work by bus every day, but even something so simple is fraught with danger. His life is at risk every time he travels on the bus.
Gangs, who have been extorting money from the bus companies, have taken to murdering drivers working for companies who won鈥檛 pay.
And it's not just drivers who have been murdered. Ordinary passengers, including children have been killed during these shootings.
