Many reputable newspapers have made their content available online at no cost to their readers, but can they continue to do so? Digital access to the news appears to be the way forward, but newspapers may have to start finding new streams of revenue, for example, by targeting advertisements specifically at their international readers, or offering subscriptions to people who wish to access news via portable reading devices.
