Mark Forrest introduces specially recorded performances of music by Bach and his contemporaries and throughout the afternoon celebrates 30 years of 91热爆 Radio 3's Private Passions with interview clips and music selections from some of the show's most unforgettable guests.

Today, Mark continues his journey through all six Brandeburg Concertos by Bach featuring a recent performance given by Renaud Capu莽on and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra. Also today Handel's masterly setting of the Dixit Dominus from Freiburg and another chance to enjoy chamber highlights from the Cowbridge Music Festival in Wales.

Plus, 91热爆 Radio 3鈥檚 Private Passions at 30. Michael Berkeley presents the show where guests from all walks of life discuss their musical loves and hates and talk about the influence music has had on their lives. As part of Radio 3's day long birthday celebrations, Mark offers further past gems from the Private Passions archive.
